AI Fluency: the on-demand course for HR teams (demo)
How the AI Fluency course works: four levels from Foundations to Translator, role-specific tracks for every HR specialty, and how to try a demo.
AI Fluency is the on-demand course behind our Learn It and Enable It programs. It gives a whole team the same foundation, then goes deep into the specific judgment each HR role needs. It can run inside your LMS or on our platform, branded for your organization.
This page walks through the structure. To try it, request demo access and we’ll set you up with a login.
Built for HR, not adapted for it
Most AI training is generic: a tour of a chat tool, a few prompts, a quiz. AI Fluency is written for People teams from the first module. The examples are HR examples. The risks are HR risks: adverse impact, people data, decisions about individuals, documentation that may be read in discovery. The judgment it teaches is the judgment the role demands.
Every module ends with a knowledge check and, where it matters, an applied activity on the learner’s own work. Learners can also work with an AI tutor that teaches the module one idea at a time, quizzes them, and applies the frameworks to a real task they bring from their week.
Four levels
AI 101: Foundations
From novice to practitioner. A working mental model of what an AI model actually does, how to choose the right tool for a task, what it costs, how to work with your own documents and data, prompting as briefing, what to do when it’s confidently wrong, the lines that don’t move, and what you own when AI touched the work. Eight modules, about four hours.
AI 201: The Practitioner
Workflows that stick. One real build carried across eight modules: from one-off prompts to repeatable workflows, context that keeps, document pipelines, verification by design, handing work to an agent, people data in production, the operating rhythm, and shipping it with proof. Learners finish with a working workflow and the evidence that it works.
AI 301: The Specialist
Role-specific tracks that go deep on judgment, because AI is improving HR’s production, not HR’s judgment. Tracks include:
- HR Business Partner: sorting your own job, the honest arithmetic, adversarial rehearsal, arguing with finance, the line, and manager capability as a product.
- Recruiting: rebuilding signal when a credible application is free to produce, intake as the highest-leverage hour, designing signal that’s expensive to fake, and the bias audit.
- Compensation & Benefits: numbers that hold, the craft layer, the exclusion zone, and the counterparty who arrives briefed by a model.
- People Analytics: what’s left when analysis is free, designing constraints, the semantic layer, and measuring AI adoption itself.
- People Operations & HR Technology: the decision inventory, the pre-enablement review, AI as the voice of the company, and where to stop and who signs.
- Labor & Employee Relations: contested accounts, the evidentiary ladder, the interview and the record, and findings that hold.
- Talent Development: portfolio triage, diagnosis as the job, the silent failure audit, and where the machine stops.
- Employee Experience & Internal Communications: the attention budget, the six links from intent to behavior, the volume trap, and the trust line.
- Defensible by Design: adverse impact testing, the automated decision tool inventory, measuring like it will be read in court, and the procurement gate.
- CPO / CHRO: fluency you can’t delegate, the shape of the job, the scope fight, the trust you own but don’t control, and the number you’ll have to defend.
AI 401: The Translator
Leading the multiplayer game: load paths and cultural debt, the change frame, somebody else’s load, ownership contracts, the invisible work audit, integration capacity, codification, designed need, the regulatory floor, and the operating system. For the HR leaders who will coach other functions, evaluate vendors, run pilots that produce evidence, and own the policy for what AI may touch.
How it’s delivered
- Your LMS or ours. Modules can be delivered inside your existing LMS or through our platform, with progress tracked either way.
- Branded and personalized. Your organization’s name, your approved tools, and your examples where they matter.
- Live options. Pair the on-demand course with workshops, a class series, or Build Shops so people apply what they learn immediately.
- Team view. Leaders see who has completed what, and where the gaps are.
